Admec added a ‘Back to Black’ machine to its fleet of sweepers in 2007 specifically to provide a service for building companies preparing to hand over their sites.

Back to Black features rows of oscillating water jets, each generating 150 bar of pressure, full width suction and a dual sweeping action. Under the control of a specially-trained Admec driver, it leaves site access roads looking as black and clean as when they were first laid.

The power of Back to Black is also being applied by road construction companies such as Balfour Beatty Civil Engineering as a fast, effective method of cleaning off the base of new roads before adding the final surface layer.
